Our Public Sector practice has a strong and growing presence in the Defence, Security and Justice (DSJ) Sectors. We help our clients to deliver complex, critical engagements, deploying the full range of our specialist disciplines, from strategy to technology and including operations, programme leadership, organisational design and change. Deloitte practitioners are frequently the people in our client's programmes who drive a step-change improvement in the speed and quality of delivery. Role description
As a Senior Manager in this practice, you will be a proven leader with a strong track record within the DSJ sector designing and delivering transformational programmes. You will have confirmed, sold and led a number of complex transformation programmes across a number of the core sector clients, building and managing high performing teams, while also overseeing and managing the programmes budget.
To be successful in this role you will be a proven leader with strong client relationships, while also demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with a number of high performing industry specialists providing consulting services to major Public Sector clients.
You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding and ability to exploit the core Operations technical competencies. Location

Our Public Sector Operations practice focuses on the full life cycle of operations transformation: from Target Operating Model design; through to operations transformation, including process reengineering and operational performance improvement.
Examples of our expertise include:
- Target Operating Model - creation of the optimal business architecture for successful strategy realisation
- Process Transformation (including lean and 6 Sigma) - transformation of an organisation's processes at a business, functional or local level
- Continuous Improvement - development of long-lasting and self-sustaining improvement capabilities
- Enterprise Cost Reduction - maximising sustainable savings in all areas of client organisations
