The successful candidate will have significant fixed income/credit experience within buy-side operations. You will report to the Head of Operations whose remit has changed to cover more strategic aspects of the business. To alleviate them of some of their BAU and management duties, this hire will not only take over those but they’ll also be allowed to drive change on factors such as systems development, recruitment and process enhancement. Very few opportunities within the market offer such scope for autonomy and an open forum for ideas. Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, onboarding etc are the minimum requirements. Greater focus will be put on the candidates’ ability to convey their ability to manage various internal and external relationships across all levels, to enhance performance and facilitate growth.
