EMEA Corporate & Strategic Access Project Manager, Arabic Speaker Required

Job Description:
The Corporate & Strategic Access Team is responsible for organising (for both Debt & Equity), Non Deal Roadshows, Fieldtrips, Conferences and Strategic Access events - originating from Broking/ Banking, Research, Sales and Corporate & Strategic Access Origination.

In all, each year in EMEA the team execute around 700 Non Deal Roadshows (NDRs), 350 Fieldtrips, 30 Conferences and 110 Strategic Access events which equates to over 20,000 client meetings.

  • NDRs are critical to our UK Broking franchise as approx. 30% of all roadshows executed are for corporate broking clients.
  • Fieldtrips ensure that Sales and Research can build and maintain close relationships with their clients, while allowing the clients to get an even greater understanding of the companies they are / might invest in.
  • Conferences are critical to our Research and Banking Franchise and are consistently referred to as best in class in broker reviews.
  • Strategic Access differentiates our Access offering for investors, bringing leading speakers direct to them taking the lead on current events, trends etc.

The Role - Corporate & Strategic Access is split by sector with each team working on all Non-Deal Roadshows, Fieldtrips and conferences for that sector specialising in events in the Middle East region. Given the wide scope of the role it is essential the candidate has relevant previous experience.

The successful applicant will be expected to:
  • have some previous experience in Corporate Access planning
  • have an understanding of the internal relationships within an investment bank
  • have an understanding of the needs of both the corporate and institutional client
  • liaise regularly with Sales, Banking, Research, Corporate Broking and Capital Markets
  • be professional, articulate and diplomatic
  • be flexible in their working style to be able to work successfully across the team
  • be flexible with their working hours speak Arabic

Duties & Responsibilities - the role will include, but not be limited to:
  • NDR Planning - logistics (flights, accommodation, venues, cars, jets, AV, printing etc), book meetings, liaising with external clients and corporates, liaising with internal partners (Sales, Research, Broking), budget management.
  • Fieldtrip Planning - arrange bespoke and group trips, liaise with clients and corporates direct, produce marketing materials, logistics, visa application, work with in-house security in regards to high-risk regions, budget management, month/year end statistics.
  • Conference Planning - 1-1 scheduling, schedule management, corporate and investor contact, post-conference reporting, maintaining conference systems and website, travel to and on-site manage the conference.
  • Strategic Access Planning - on-site management of event, collate attendee lists for pre and post event, create marketing documents, liaise directly with high profile speakers with regards their logistics.

Skills Required:
  • Previous experience; ability to work with minimum management
  • Arabic Speaker
  • Strong team player essential
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and problem-solve within a highly pressured environment
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages, in particular Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills - articulate and diplomatic
