EMEA FCC Client Intelligence & Investigations # 130460

We Offer
  • You will be acting as the EMEA lead for the Client Intelligence and Investigations function
  • Lead on the implementation of all country MaRA (Market Risk Appetite) reports across the EMEA region for all business divisions in conjunction with Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Advisory teams
  • Overseeing all financial crime investigations undertaken by the EMEA FCC Investigations Team. You will also ensure that each investigation has an assessment recommendation in line with the relevant impacted counties regulatory reporting obligations for SAR/STRs for the MLRO/nominated officer to review and approve
  • Contribute to the assessments for EMEA Global Focus Clients and Special Focus Clients of the bank
  • Facilitating the decision-making and information sharing regarding high risk clients through the various regional governance forums within region
  • Management responsibility for the EMEA FCC Investigations Team (currently 3 FTE)

You Offer
  • The expectation is that in order to undertake the role, you should have 6 to 10 years' experience working in a similar financial crime position within a banking or financial institution
  • Your education to degree level is helpful or have an appropriate FCC qualification such as an ICA Diploma in Financial Crime
  • You will need to have sufficient gravitas for liaising with senior management and or leadership individuals across the lines of defense and the Europe Middle-East and Africa region
  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory and legislative requirements for the financial crime disciplines, fraud, AML/CTF, sanctions, ABC and Tax Evasion in the UK with special focus on the UK SARs regime
  • Experience of handling complex and multi-jurisdiction financial crime investigations to conclusion and ensuring key senior management are corresponded with progress updates
