Reports To: Senior Vice President, Head of Wholesale Distribution, EMEA

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 2-4 years' sales or client service experience to join a dynamic London-based team at a leading specialist asset manager that has great potential to grow. New York-based Cohen & Steers is a global leader in managing liquid real asset strategies – alternative investments that are in great demand – and the firm has an entrepreneurial strategy to build out its operations across the EMEA region. This role offers a rare opportunity to support a business across diverse geographies with the potential to transition into a sales role as our wholesale business expands.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure that clients receive first class service:
    • On-board new accounts
    • Prepare/update presentations and reporting packages
    • Update, maintain and analyze sales trends and strategies utilizing Salesforce CRM
    • Provide support for client meetings and conference calls
  • Fulfil ‘broker-desk’ function to intermediary fund distributors for UCITS fund range:
  • Answer fund specific enquiries
  • Update standard fund presentations
  • Maintain and develop client relationship plans
  • Provide internal reporting to senior management
  • Support strategic client relationship development efforts:

Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Fluent in English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2:1 bachelor degree
  • Minimum of one year of directly relevant client service experience
  • Proficient IT skills - all Microsoft office products and able to pick up other systems easily, including Salesforce
  • Strong technical investment knowledge and sound understanding of investment products
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency in responding to client service and sales support enquiries
  • Energy, drive and stamina with strong team player skills
  • Desire to learn and grow with a view to take on increasing levels of responsibilities
