Highly reputable asset manager hiring a brand new ESG manager to join their growing team to act as an internal consultant to the business and make recommendations regarding responsible investing matte
My client, an alternatives asset manager are hiring a brand new ESG Manager to join their team. They are looking for someone who can identify and assess issues relating to responsible investing in order to create value for their clients through minimising risk and maximising opportunity all whilst creating a more sustainable business model. This individual will be responsible for assessing ESG across all of their investment strategies. The role will work closely with the business including C-suite individuals and the successful candidate will be responsible for setting targets, and measuring/monitoring progress.
Responsibilities of ESG Manager (Asset management): - Support the implementation of the ESG framework across investment strategies within the firm
- Measure and monitor targets set for ESG across fund strategies
- Lead on all ESG surveys
- Analyse data in order to make crucial recommendations to the business
- Be proactive in ensuring you remain up to date with changing ESG related regulations
- Bring ideas on new initiatives regarding responsible investing
Experience required of ESG Manager (Asset management): - Ideally experience from a consulting background, must have experience consulting on ESG to private equity firms or asset managers
- Must have experience and knowledge of latest ESG regulations
- Experience of multi-tasking
- Proactive approach
- Experience liaising with senior stakeholders
