ETF Product Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility for the structuring and implementation of new European domiciled index funds and ETFs. 

Oversee new product launches to ensure successful delivery.

Ownership of the platform supporting European domiciled index funds and ETFs. 

Lead enhancements and required change to ensure best in class infrastructure that continually evolves to meet the needs of both market participants and clients.

Contribute to and support product strategy and product research including index design and development. 

Ensure the European indexed and exchange delivered priorities are connected to the broader Product Development pipeline. 

Identify new product opportunities and build a business case to support new product launches. 

Assess the feasibility of new product ideas, including commercial viability. 

Ensure products are performing as expected and portfolio management techniques are in line with expectations. 

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. 

Serve as SME for all indexed and ETF product and platform related aspects and very clearly articulate this knowledge to a broad audience, both internally and externally including clients.  

 

Experience and Qualifications Required

 

A natural self-starter with a global mind-set and the commitment and desire to grow a new business.

Strong organisational, project management and time management skills including an ability to multitask, prioritise and structure formulated plans to deliver on critical objectives.

Deep knowledge of markets and financial products, especially ETFs and passive investment strategies.

Firm understanding of indexing and passive portfolio management concepts and processes. 

A team player, who will be able to work within our clients overall culture and fit with its entrepreneurial but collaborative style.
