Employee Relations Regulatory Consultant - 13 month fixed term contract
Take ownership of your career and come and join our EMEA Employee Relations team for a 13-month fixed term contract, where you will provide advice and guidance on all employment regulatory matters.
You will provide robust legal advice on all regulatory matters that impact the employee lifecycle (including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, investigations and disciplinary matters involving conduct issues) with a primary focus on conduct risk and culture. This evolving area of HR will see you providing input into HR processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations as well as being involved with HR's regulatory reporting requirements.
Good communication skills are crucial to translate regulatory rules and expectations into practical guidance and strong stakeholder management skills are essential in your role as a key advisor to regional conduct risk committees as well as the regional Integrity Office. You will also take ownership of HR regulatory policies and be the regional point of contact for all HR related regulatory requests and relevant disclosures in close collaboration with the Risk Management Group.
You are an experienced Employment Lawyer with a minimum of 4 years PQE. You'll bring a strong understanding and working knowledge of the UK's Senior Managers and Certification Regime gained from working in a similar in-house legal or Employee Relations role, or from within private practice. Organised and proactive in your approach, you will bring initiative, self-direction and a high attention to detail. Your strong sense of personal motivation will see you complete projects and provide advice in a timely manner.
