Enterprise Risk Client Support
Bloomberg's Multi-Asset Risk System (MARS) and derivatives data and valuation services (BVAL OTC) offers a comprehensive suite of risk management tools that delivers consistent, consolidated results across our clients entire firm. MARS is powered by Bloomberg's world-class pricing library, market data and mortgage cash flow engine, and together with BVAL OTC enables front office, risk, middle office, collateral managers and other financial professionals to analyse their trading and investment portfolios, manage and mitigate their exposure and ready themselves for any turn of events.
We are looking for individuals with market knowledge and expertise to support clients who use our solutions with outstanding service that allows them to operate effectively. What's the role?
You will start your journey by completing our comprehensive Analytics & Sales training program, covering all aspects of the financial markets: economic principles, market players and asset classes - while teaching you all there is to know about the functionality and analytical tools Bloomberg has to offer!
You will join one of our Analytics teams, delivering exceptional customer support to our clients while working towards an asset class specialism.
Following the completion of your specialism, you will move into our Risk Enterprise Team that supports clients with workflow solutions for their risk management requirements. Being part of the team means you'll be providing outstanding customer service, while building a detailed knowledge of our solutions. You will be supporting clients using one or more of the following products:
Multi-Asset Risk System (MARS) allows clients to manage the risk of their portfolio. They can perform stress-tests and scenario analysis on their multi-asset portfolio using our tools.
There are multiple opportunities to further your career across the department or the company, such as becoming a Subject Matter Expert within the team or progressing into one of our specialised Product Sales teams. You could go on to take up a Leadership position or pursue a role in our Product or Implementations teams.
The role can be broken down into 3 core areas:
Client Service - At Bloomberg we pride ourselves on focusing on customer experience, providing our clients with the fastest and most knowledgeable solutions. In the role, you will use your product knowledge and acquired client intel to build and maintain credible relationships with your clients, create clear and up-to-date documentation of client needs, and actively communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
Product and Domain Expertise - Keeping up to date with market trends while understanding the impact on our clients is crucial. You will develop your knowledge of our products and customers' workflows, sharing and building this knowledge across your team.
Business Impact - You'll be involved in generating leads and contributing to sales campaigns, prioritising product enhancement requests for our Product and Engineering teams, and providing valuable customer intelligence that drives product improvements and sales performance. You'll need:
- Experience in sell-side or buy-side markets
- Utilize your strong product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge to support our Enterprise clients
- Previous knowledge and experience of derivatives market or risk management tools
- Great communication skills and ability to build relationships across various stakeholder levels (technical contacts, product managers, traders, executive team etc.)
- Be a self-starter and a proactive collaborator with strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to assist with product testing and project management work
We would love to see:
- Knowledge of regulations like FRTB
- Interest in technology and coding skills
- Knowledge of derivatives
- Fluency in another European language in addition to English
