We are looking to recruit an Equity Research Associate in our London office, to help expand our research coverage. Reporting directly to the Equity Research Manager, you would analyse qualitative and quantitative information on companies and produce written primary research reports aimed at equity investors.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collate, organise and analyse qualitative/quantitative information
  • Write research reports and present our findings comprehensively
  • Update and keep track of news flow on specific companies including reviewing companies’ earnings releases
  • Answer client queries on data both over the phone and in person
  • Suggest updates to survey questionnaires based on company and industry news and developments
  • Identify and research new companies to cover
  • Provide ongoing support to the Third Bridge sales and account management teams through briefings on report highlights and answering queries

Skills

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Competency at report writing including presentation, formatting, editing, producing charts and graphics
  • An excellent eye for detail, quality and consistency, to ensure the highest possible professional standards for reports 
  • A proven track record in managing and completing multiple projects to tight deadlines whilst still maintaining quality
  • Be driven and ambitious with the motivation to take on additional responsibilities should the opportunity arise
  • A minimum of 6-month experience in investment banking (Equity Research, M&A), asset management or consulting firms is required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
