A top tier Investment Bank has multiple vacancies for FIX Client Connectivity Support Analysts. You will onboard external and internal clients to trade via FIX and other protocols with the bank via the equities ecommerce trading platforms, (e.g. banks, large international corporations; exchanges; hedge funds; asset managers; etc.).

This role encompasses project management, technical change, continuous service improvement, and infrastructure knowledge.

The successful candidate will, build and maintain relationship with clients and support existing flow as they expand their FIX connections with the bank.

Key Accountabilities:

  • FIX clients on-boarding to the bank's ecommerce trading platforms
  • Maintaining existing system configuration
  • Running with connectivity projects
  • Providing 2nd line FIX connectivity support
  • Maintaining internal and external FIX documentation
  • Excellent communication skills, attend regular meeting, highlight any delays caused by external clients with Trading and Sales
  • Understand external client FIX requirements and business objectives, define, configure and deliver solutions that meet these requirements
  • Ability to explain complex technical terms to external clients concisely without using technical jargon.
  • Build strong internal relationships to facilitate a strong team environment
  • Good understanding of the connectivity market including key vendors, exchanges and ECN


  • Experience in a FIX Connectivity role in a bank or similar
  • Effective communicator who can demonstrate strong influencing skills
  • Experience of supporting complex enterprise trading/risk systems
  • Track record of delivering continuous service improvement
  • Technical background (either Technical Support (L2/3), Dev, SA)
  • Proven ability of high performance under pressure with tight deadlines and challenging constraints
  • Driven individual with a strong work ethic

Essential Skills:

  • Knowledge of a number of asset class market fundamentals (including Equities, Futures and Rates) and a genuine interest in financial services / markets, particular changes in the regulatory environment and how they impact the way Investment Banks do business
  • An strong understanding of FIX Protocol, Unix and Networks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, communicate with internal and external clients,
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
