FX Technical Product Manager – Financial Services Firm – London

This is a permanent position paying up to £110,000 per annum + bonus & benefits

twentyAI has partnered with a prestigious financial services firm who are looking for a technical product owner to come and join their capital markets team. In this role, you will be working across their FX and equity business areas and will be essential in the re-platforming of their FX assets by implementing new technologies, best practices and tools. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on FX or trading platforms.

Key responsibilities 

• Work with stakeholders to define product roadmap fx for trading systems
• Develop technical requirements based on business requirements
• Document end to end business flows to support technology flows
• Lead input on technical solution designs
• Work with stakeholders to assess the impact of all risks of relevant systems
• Collaborate on wider organisation strategy and vision
• Manage technology lifecycle from service including launch, change management & end of life 

Key skills 

• Prior experience as a product manager or owner is needed
• Previous experience in capital markets or financial services is essential
• Strong technical knowledge of trading systems or FX is required
• In-depth knowledge of working in an agile environment
• Previous experience working on market data platforms or products is desirable
• The ability to work effectively with all levels of clients and IT stakeholders
• Must be self-motivated and have a desire to engage in process improvement
• Proven track record of writing test strategies, plans, scripts, and cases
• Understanding of C++ is desirable
