We are looking for a Supervisor to take responsibility for the day to day running of the London workshop and to provide support to the team of Data Centre Field Engineers. Your role will be to oversee the day to day operational needs of the engineers and to ensure that the EBS Global Field Services Manager is updated on any issues or needs of the team. The successful candidate will work closely with other stakeholder teams, act as the focal point and
coordinator for Data Centre deployment activities.

Accountabilities
  • To provide support for all service calls at UK customer sites and third-party Data Centres
  • Field Service Technical lead for UK based data centre activities
  • Participate in planning meetings representing the DCE UK team
  • Assist with planning of all MAC activities working with Operations and Network teams
  • Oversight of UK data centres ensuring the required data centre build qualities are being maintained by the FS teams for UK based locations
  • Carry out duties adhering to all aspects relating to Field Service, Logistics, Installations and customer care
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard and all relevant scheduling, calendar, rota and Data Centre diagrams are up to date
  • Responsible for keeping the workplace clear of redundant equipment and safe to work in
  • Liaise with customers as necessary when scheduling on-site activity ensuring they are aware of all actions and intended actions relating to their service call thereby ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Report customer feedback to your line manager
  • Comply with all instructions and procedures
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Provide a point of escalation for Field Service Engineers to raise any concerns related to the workplace and action or escalate accordingly on a rota based out of hours support structure

  • Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • A reasonable knowledge of PC's, servers and network components
  • Experience of project management beneficial
  • Demonstrate proven experience in the area of Field Service Management
  • Educated to GCSE or A level equivalent
  • Any industry specific certification would be an advantage
  • Candidates must be in possession of a valid UK driving license. A company car will be supplied with the role.
