As one of four Directors, reporting to the Finance Director General. This role has a dual focus. The post holder will be responsible for both supporting DWP Finance Group’s transofrmation in delivering more effective and efficient services, and critcally, leading financial policy and standard setting, along with the management of departmental financial controls.
The salary for this role is set with the Senior Civil Service pay band 2 range and the successful candidate should expect their salary on appointment to be between £88,000 and £120,000. This role can be based in one of the DWP Finance hubs which are spread across the country in; London, Leeds, Sheffield, Blackpool, Manchester and Newcastle.
