HFG is partnering with a rapidly growing and ambitious MGA to hire an experience Finance Project Manager. You will be Responsible for leading multiple projects to drive both organic & inorganic growth and improve controls in finance and across the business.
Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the CFO to develop the finance function globally.
- Undertake due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities
- Ensure the successful integration of the financial operations and reporting for new group businesses.
- Create solutions for operating in new countries, new sectors and new products
- Provide decision support and the evaluation of business opportunities
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational cash flow
- Implement and document improvements to Client Money controls.
- Introduction of improved credit control procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve the control environment and increase the efficiency of finance processes and systems
- Provide Project leadership to the finance function
Candidate Profile: - Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience of the insurance-related sector is preferred (MGA, Broker or Underwriter)
- The ability to analyse data and concisely present key messages
- Exposure to International business
- Strong MS Excel skills are essential
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders
- Strong planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines
