Finance Projects Manager

HFG is partnering with a rapidly growing and ambitious MGA to hire an experience Finance Project Manager. You will be Responsible for leading multiple projects to drive both organic & inorganic growth and improve controls in finance and across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CFO to develop the finance function globally.
• Undertake due diligence on potential acquisition opportunities
• Ensure the successful integration of the financial operations and reporting for new group businesses.
• Create solutions for operating in new countries, new sectors and new products
• Provide decision support and the evaluation of business opportunities
• Lead initiatives to enhance operational cash flow
• Implement and document improvements to Client Money controls.
• Introduction of improved credit control procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve the control environment and increase the efficiency of finance processes and systems
• Provide Project leadership to the finance function

Candidate Profile:

• Recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Experience of the insurance-related sector is preferred (MGA, Broker or Underwriter)
• The ability to analyse data and concisely present key messages
• Exposure to International business
• Strong MS Excel skills are essential
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders
• Strong planning and organisational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and to manage own workload against tight deadlines
