A high growth Technology business is looking for a Financial Controller. The business has been highly acquisitive over the last few years and intend to continue on this journey in the next couple of years. The Financial Controller will manage a small team and report into the CFO. The Financial Controller will be expected to implement new processes, develop the team and strive for continuous improvement whilst supporting the business commercially.
The Financial Controller will take ownership of all key finance processes for the UK business including the monthly close, year end accounts, managing the audit and coordinating the budgeting & forecasting cycles. In addition, this individual will support the CFO with special projects such as acquisitions, business cases, process & systems improvements and various other ad hoc requirements.
This would be the ideal next step for someone who is already established as a Financial Controller but is looking for a new challenge in a growing company. The organisation has lovely new offices in Central London but offer flexibility to work from home.
The ideal background for the Financial Controller would be a qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience as a Financial Controller. Exposure to the Technical, IT, Telecoms or Services sectors would be a plus.
