A boutique private equity firm is looking to appoint a Financial Controller into a broad and highly commercial role. The firm have a number of unique funds in place and operate in an innovative and forward thinking section of the market with a European focus. This is a standalone role suited to someone who is happy being hands on in a mostly outsourced environment. The breath of responsibilities is vast from oversight of the corporate and fund accounting (which is prepared externally) through to involvement in various internal and external projects and on-going ad hoc support to front office and the Partners. You’ll need to be comfortable getting involved in a bit of everything and anything with the chance to develop your FD/CFO credentials in a busy and dynamic operating environment.
It’s likely that you’ll be a qualified accountant already operating at financial controller or head of finance level and ideally in an asset management or private equity business or equivalent. The Partners are looking for a trusted internal adviser and someone who understands the ebbs and flows of private equity investments with the need for someone with relevant industry experience who can add immediate value. You’ll need to be self-managed and able to manage conflicting deadlines, with a confident and approachable personality. Ideally you’ll also be able to start this role prior to Christmas with the need for someone who is on a relatively short notice period.
Salary is c£90-100,000 base plus benefits and a generous bonus. For immediate consideration please apply online or for more information or a confidential discussion please contact Glen Roberts at Eames Consulting Group on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 70923231.
