Excellent opportunity with this highly active Pan-European Private Equity firm for a qualified accountant who has some post qualified experience.

Based in the West End, the company have an AUM of over £2bn and significant discretionary deployable capital. They are boutique, highly flexible and entrepreneurial with their approach. They look at large, complex transactions and have an excellent track record of achieving significant investment returns.

This role sits within finance but has a broad remit including asset management, ongoing performance analysis of the portfolio, corporate finance, fund accounting / structuring and investment support at the execution phase.

The company are undergoing an exciting period of growth and this a newly created role, joining a small but highly experienced team.


Financial control of the management company, including:

  • Cash flow and budget management
  • Accounting, bookkeeping and consolidations
  • Statutory reporting and coordination of annual audits
  • Assisting with setting and reviewing annual budgets, forecasts and re-forecasts as well as cash flow and budget management

Asset management of current and future portfolio investments including but not limited to:

  • Accounting and other financial analysis tasks
  • Portfolio performance monitoring and management
  • Development and maintenance of financial models
  • Support Acquisition and Legal teams in financial, tax and structuring due diligence

Financial support and management of fund administration including but not limited to:

  • Liaising on a regular basis with overseas fund administration providers
  • Maintaining the accounts of the fund and associated entities
  • Calculation of drawdowns and distributions
  • Investor and board reporting
  • Regulatory compliance


  • Qualified Accountant, ACA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience of IFRS and UK GAAP financial reporting
  • Experience of Financial and management accounting (including audit)
  • Experience of FCA-regulated structures and businesses
  • Good financial and accounting modelling skills in Excel
  • Commercially and entrepreneurially minded
  • Some exposure to private equity (or similar) fund structures is beneficial
