Financial Reporting Specialist, Senior Associate

As a member of the Financial Reporting team, you will play a lead role in the provision of annual financial statements and other financial reporting in respect of our clients regulated fund ranges utilising your prior accounting knowledge and experience

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the delivery of accounts in SORP format with supporting schedules, distribution rates and any other client or regulatory deliverables as required
  • Qualitative review of the accounts for arithmetical and type setting accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards
  • Act as the clients primary point of contact for the reporting process on all queries from clients, auditors, Trustees and other stakeholders ensuring responses provided to all queries in a timely manner
  • Support manager in planning and control of team workloads and service delivery
  • Identify and escalate service level and operational risk issues in line with appropriate business and corporate policies

Required Qualifications:
  • Obtained or studying towards obtaining a professional accountancy qualification would be useful but not essential. Study support for relevant qualifications is available
  • Degree or equivalent
  • At least 2 - 4 years of accounting experience. Previous experience of financial reporting for unit trusts, OEIC's or other collective investment schemes is beneficial
  • PC literate and competent in use of spread sheets and word processing
  • Good understanding of fund administration.
