Our client is a fintech start-up developing a leading edge RFQ MIS system for fixed income flow trading desks, leveraging leading edge artificial intelligence and business intelligence technologies. The platform will provide real time historical / market analysis and MIS reporting for Heads of Flow Trading, in order to track and maximise sales revenue and client profitability opportunities much more efficiently than can be done right now.
The team assembled so far are mainly fixed income technologists and the product is in the early stages of being built. But what they are looking for is an experienced fixed income / credit trader (ideally with Head of Desk experience), with an excellent grasp of RFQ’s and the MIS business needs around RFQ’s, who can add value in an advisory capacity to help sharpen the product build leveraging their “business user” expertise.
So if you have a fixed income flow trading background and are open to exploring discussions with this venture please do apply. Note that the start-up has not yet raised funding, so there isn’t a full time salaried (or even part time paid in £) role there today. But any contribution as a partner at this early stage would of course be rewarded in the future including the prospect of equity (amount dependant on how much a contribution someone makes). So this opportunity would suit someone perhaps not in a job who can take such an entrepreneurial risk whilst job searching, or in a role already and able to contribute out of office hours, in the hope the venture will provide an alternative and profitable career route out of trading as this fintech venture grows.
The venture is London based, but in this remote connected world happy to consider someone from any global location.
