Field of activity

The Trading & Clearing Division provides leading trading and clearing services for their international derivative, repo and securities lending customers. For repo the liquid market offer combines electronic trading, with the efficiency and safety of a CCP as well as standardized collateral management and settlement for secured funding and financing transactions. A wide range of international fixed income securities and equities can be traded and cleared with GC Pooling, General Collateral (GC) and Special Repo using the value chain of Deutsche Börse as well as third party flow providers, such as BrokerTec.


The Funding & Financing Product Design Unit works within the Fixed Income, Funding & Financing Strategy and Product Design to develop new and enhance existing product/markets within the area of secured funding and financing ) for sell and buy-side customers. In this context, the initiative of introducing new repo products and services across trading and clearing is the main driver and providing support for the corresponding launch is an essential responsibility.

You will play an important role as a member of the Fixed Income, Funding & Financing Product Design team through:

  • Developing new repo products and services as well as enhancing our existing funding & financing markets, across trading and clearing Definition of business requirements for such enhancements and new products in conjuction with validation via market consultations with major customers
  • Enabling a transition of buy side customers from bilateral trading to electronic execution and utilization of cleared repo products
  • Involvement in major projects: Eurex wide project planning including development and maintenance of project / milestone plans
  • Ensuring a smooth and operational procedure alongside the whole value chain from trading through clearing to collateral management / settlement for sell- and buy side customers
  • Compilation of status reports and decision meetings such as new product approvals and board presentations to facilitate information exchange and decision making

 Qualifications/required skills

  • University degree in economics, business administration, or equivalent with excellent results
  • Focus on delivery with results-oriented and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated with an independent, self-confident and focused approach
  • Knowledge of repo business
  • Client clearing background would be an advantage
  • Good organizational skills and close attention to detail
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
