One of the global powerhouses within the Asset Management space is looking for a Technical Lead to join their London desk and build out the Front Office Trading team, primarily focused on Fixed Income products. This role allows for a wide scope of responsibilities – acting as the Core Engineering group, you will be involved in all aspects of Portfolio Management from the analysis and construction of the platforms to their optimisation.
As the Technical Lead, you will be facing off directly to the business stakeholders as well as the portfolio managers on the desk whilst leading by example from a technical perspective. This is a hands-on role whereby you will be a business-critical hire, helping shape the technological direction of the firm whilst impacting their bottom line.
Requirements:
- Experienced programming skills in Java or Python (preference for a polygot mentality)
- Previous experience working in a Front Office portfolio management trading environment
- Experience with Cloud platforms is a bonus – particularly AWS
- A proponent of modern collaborative engineering techniques and methodologies – CI/CD, Agile, TDD
- Excellent communication skills, with a desire to have daily interactions with stakeholders and Portfolio Managers
