Summary of Responsibilities: 

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day fund administration and accounting, including, but not limited to: 

• Investor capital calls and distributions

• Investment drawdowns and distributions 

• Fund investment valuations

• Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements and Investor Reports

• Calculation of management fees

• Fund taxation (US, UK, Germany)

• Production of SPV consolidated financial statements

• VAT reporting

• Assisting the Investor Relations team with data requests

• Maintaining relationships with TPPs (auditors, tax advisers, banks) 
Candidate profile: 
• A professional qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA/CIMA

• Experience of fund accounting in the Private Equity sector or auditing Private Equity clients is desirable

• Technical accounting knowledge and full understanding of UK GAAP, IFRS & other relevant accounting standards is essential

• Analytical and enthusiastic team player with outstanding attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple tasks within tight deadlines

• A methodical approach, considerate of consistency and maintaining audit trails to enable efficient reviewing of work 

• Experience in a private equity software application would be an advantage
