A leading Asset Management firm currently requires a Fund Accountant to join them on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

A leading Asset Management firm currently requires a Fund Accountant to join them on a 12 month maternity cover contract. The Fund Accountant is required to help support all financial aspects and some non-financial aspects for four unlisted Funds. Working in a team of four people in their London office.

You will be responsible for;

Reporting:

• Responsible for statutory accounts and liaison with auditors
• Quarterly Management Accounts
• AIFMD reporting (Depositary, Investors & FCA)
• Contribution to Advisory Committee, Board Reports, Stakeholder reports, Internal Management Reports, Risk Management Function
• Contribution to Investment Papers

Underlying Investments

• Management Loans, Calculations, Statements, Collection interest
• Receive, review, analyse and report on financial information deliverable under the investment agreements (loans and shareholder agreements)
• Input to valuations

Fund Administration

• Responsible for the full finance function from data entry, reconciliations, journals, VAT returns, working papers to final TB's
• Fund specific ad hoc reports - schedules of investments, Commitments, availability of commitments, Fund cash summaries
• Drawdowns from Investors
• Detailed document retention to comply with and be ready for non-financial audits of the Funds

For your application to qualify, you will have the following;

• 2-3 years post qualified experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Accounting software capability

• Attention to detail, accuracy

• Flexible
• Deadline-oriented
• Communication skills
