Our client is a leading Private Debt Fund Manager based in central London, a well known firm in this sector. A new role has been created for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with prior fund accounting experience. This role represents a great opportunity to gain further fund accounting experience in a progressive and challenging role.

The Role:

  • Fund Accounting and Reporting - preparation of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners e.g. Financial statements and Partner statements
  • Fund Operations - preparation of Drawdown / Distribution calculations and notices and monitoring cash & liquidity
  • Limited Partner Requests - monitoring and preparation of audit; regular and adhoc requests
  • Training - developing an understanding of the Fund structure, software and processes
  • Numerous other adhoc and regular tasks

Requirements:

  • You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • You will have current or prior experience in a fund accounting role, ideally within Private Debt, Credit or Private Equity
  • You can come from a fund administration business seeking that first "in-house" role or from within another relevant investment management business
  • You will have excellent all round communication skills and be able to work well in small teams

The Opportunity:

  • Terrific role to take that next step in your career
  • Working in a small team will allow you to develop new skills quickly, whilst performing a broader role than you would have in a larger corporate
  • Work with excellent people in a dynamic and growing business
