Purpose of Role:

Fund Connect is one of State Street’s market-leading electronic trading solutions that assists Institutional Investors with their short-term investment portfolio and reporting requirements through a single gateway to a global pool of Money Market products. Fund Connect is part of the suite of products offered by GlobalLink.

The role is to support the Fund Connect Operational functions and will interact and liaise closely with AML/KYC teams for on-boarding clients, the Fund Connect EMEA Sales team and external counterparties; clients, Transfer Agents and Fund Providers.

Major Responsibilities:

Role specifics



  • On-board new clients and products


  • Reconcile account positions


  • Resolve client enquiries/issues


  • Engage and liaise with mutual fund Transfer Agent's


  • Actively monitor and manage fund information to ensure completeness and accuracy


  • Ensure adherence to all operational and audit procedures 

Individual Contributor



  • Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role

  • Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making

Level of Education / Qualifcations:



  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Skills and Experience:

This is an entry-level role which does not require specific knowledge of Financial services/operations, although experience would be beneficial, and would suit a graduate with some, or all, of the following: 



  • Aptitude for, and common- sense approach to, problem-solving


  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills


  • Client service experience


  • Knowledge of mutual funds


  • Understanding of Cash & Custody settlement process


  • Familiarity with SWIFT messaging


  • Technical competence with the MS Office suite of products


  • Fluency in English at a minimum, German a plus
