We Offer
The Delta One business is seeking a trader to join the London desk. Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Trading of all D1 products
  • Full price testing of D1 books utilizing Bloomberg/Reuters feeds to diagnose price discrepancies relative to RMS marks
  • Full analysis of decomposition of index products across the books to make certain there are no index outages due to stale prices/ corporate actions
  • Liaison with IT/ PC/ SRM
  • Ability to track/ measure any pricing adjustments being made across all relevant fields
  • Corp actions: make elections and hedge of corporate actions of the local inventory
  • Index Rebalancing: use understanding of index tracking on Stoxx sectors - assessing the positioning on sectors will be critical in such cases
  • Dividends: the individual will review pricing, distribution, calibration of dividend risk around index expiries
  • PnL signoff: maintain transparent PnL with a view of understanding less transparent risks, such as FX on dividends, pending booking and keeping corporate action books hedged and marked at fair
  • Business Development: present the needs and requirements of the desk for several key risk capture systems
  • Research: Reading global events, the individual will begin taking a view on key risks: equity, dividend, and interest rates


You Offer


  • Proven track record of trading experience gained on a Prime Services Delta One Trading Desk
  • Capable of performing full price testing of large index books
  • Demonstrable programming skills and experience in C, C++, R, MATLAB, SQL, HTML
  • Advanced user of Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel (VBA)
  • Master's degree in a highly quantitative discipline such as Maths, Physics, or Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical and numerical capability gained within an Investment Bank
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and network effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and written skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervision
