Man Group has a new opening for a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst.

Main Purpose

A new opening has arisen in the Financial Crime team of a global active investment management business. The role offers the chance to work across all Financial Crime work streams including anti-money laundering, sanctions, bribery, and corruption on a global level and across all business lines. The workload is diverse and includes investigations, research, analytical assessments of due diligence, screening alert disposition, report writing and ad hoc project work.


  • Assist the financial crime team in the management of BAU workflows across various jurisdictions and business units
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective and existing clients to assess the financial crime risk
  • Review KYC reports and ensure all documentation is recorded on file
  • Investigation of name screening alerts from initial creation to disposition
  • Assist in the review and update of financial crime policies and procedures
  • Support the financial crime team with regulatory tasks, ad hoc projects, and event driven casework
  • Collate and produce presentations for team meetings, committees, and business unit training sessions
  • Maintenance of the team's internal trackers, logs, management information
  • Actively improve processes and make suggestions for process efficiency

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent ideally in a Compliance, Legal, or Finance related subject
  • Background and understanding of the asset management industry would be beneficial
  • Experience in a financial crime, investigations, research, due diligence, or legal role would be beneficial
  • Demonstrable knowledge of financial markets and confidence in navigating new systems would be beneficial
  • Experience in analytical report writing and production of management information
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment
  • A focused, proactive, goal-orientated team member
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office suite products
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate with different stakeholders
