Group Financial Controller
Carnegie ConsultingI'm working with a highly successful property business on their search for a Group Financial Controller. This is a newly-created executive-level role which has come about due to the continued expansion of the business.
Alongside a broad range of BAU activities, this newly-created role offers many opportunities to implement new processes and procedures with exciting plans anticipated for the business. You'll be responsible for the day to day management of a small team as well as working closely with other colleagues on the strategic business plan.
The person in this role will work closely with key stakeholders inside and outside the business so excellent communication skills are imperative.
In order to complete the required statutory reporting, candidates will need to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and be up to date with their CPD.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
- Line Management of a team of 3
- Maintaining cashflow: working capital, debt restructuring & obtaining finance
- Working with external audit to submit statutory reporting
- Working closely with the Executive team to be the go-to person in Finance
