Team Profile:

Client Reference Data are recruiting for a Head of Business Intelligence to join the Client Reference Data Team; the successful candidate will be leading the operational management of the day to day delivery of business reports and development of a strategic BI platform.

The team is developing a strategic platform for all Divisions within Morgan Stanley. The CRD BI function delivers reports to MS Operations that are used to support Regulatory Compliance and Governance across all lines of Business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing SLAs for CRD Reporting
  • Stakeholder management/ senior management reporting
  • Escalation point for reporting
  • Monthly supply management (CRD Jira Commit)
  • BI Architecture
  • BA Escalation point


Skills required:
  • Knowledge of Business Objects
  • Knowledge of Tableau
  • Practical experience of SQ
  • Experience managing a global team
  • Experience managing operational processes
  • Stakeholder management
  • Communication skills

Desired Skills:
  • Reference Data Knowledge
  • Previous assignment at Morgan Stanley with exposure to technical systems
  • Working knowledge of distributed database
