Head of Contract Recruitment, Financial Services & FinTech

There is an exciting opportunity for a senior contract recruiter to join at this juncture and take ownership for building out EC1 Partners’ customer base.

We are a market leading Headhunting agency sourcing, introducing, and placing the best Sales, Product, IT, Marketing, and HR candidates within the FinTech market. We cover both search and contingency assignments in both Permanent & Interim/Contract recruitment across all continents with a local presence in London, New York, and Singapore.

The company is seeking to hire a Senior Contract recruiter to help build and grow a new division in London & Europe focusing on change and transformational roles predominantly in the financial technology sector. This person will be instrumental in creating a new revenue stream for the company by developing new customer relationships, as well as leveraging off our existing client base by developing new relationships on the Tech side.

Depending on experience and level of seniority, this person could also form part of our management team in London to aid further expansion of the European business. 

This person will be expected to find the best “hands-on” technologists across all levels into organisations that are passionate about Technology. We expect them to have the gravitas and experience to engage with senior technologists, CTO’s & Executive Technology Managers to understand their contract requirements in detail.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • 5+ years ‘experience in Tech recruitment as a fee earner – not researcher.
  • Proven track record of recruiting the following contract roles within FinTech or Financial Services.

CTO / Executive Level Technology Managers
Application Developers (Server Side, Front End GUI) 
Technology Engineers (Data, DevOps, Full Stack, Cloud) 
Application Support (Front to Back, L1/L2/L3) 
Techno-Functional BA/PM’s 
Technical / Solution Architects 

Trade Support – FIX/API

  • Deep understanding of Financial Markets & Technology.
  • Possess the gravitas to capture C-level attention and to understand customers’ requirements for hiring.
  • Strong Business Development Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional and team player.
