Fast growing FS business based in the City are looking for a head of FP&A to take on a dynamic role.
Our client is a global FS company, looking for a Group Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, reporting to the CFO.
The role will cover three main areas of responsibility:
- To lead, develop and evolve the Group FP&A function. Strategically, this will involve changing the way that FPA operates within the business from a cultural, structural and process perspective. This will be a significant finance transformation project and will be the cornerstone of the role. Simultaneously, the Head of FP&A will be expected to have a hands on role in setting and monitoring divisional budgets and forecasts, business partnering with senior divisional stakeholders and reporting MI to board level.
- To support the CFO. In a lean and very busy group function this may involve reporting, governance, processes or strategy. This position will be seen as a 'number 2' and the incumbent will be expected to take on a variety of projects and responsibilities within the function, not just FP&A.
- To play a role in the wider finance leadership team. This role will have ad hoc responsibilities to the CFO which will include strategic analysis projects and assisting with the finance transformation agenda.
This role would suit a qualified accountant, with significant post qualified commercial finance experience. This is an extremely demanding, fast paced, global environment and the role would suit someone with experience of the same. Exposure to large scale transformation projects, developing teams and delivering change in a commercial finance setting would all be very useful.
