We are working with a growing placement agent with a great fundraising track record and a strong secondaries advisory franchise. As it expands, it is looking to hire a dedicated GP origination professional to establish a pipeline of mandates, ensuring the future success of the business

We are working with a growing placement agent and secondaries advisor. They have a strong track-record raising funds for established names in the mid-market buyouts and growth space. On the back of this success, they have ambitious plans to expand the business. They are looking for a senior professional with a good network of GPs to originate new placement mandates and ensure a pipeline for the future. This is a great platform for you to use and grow your network throughout the EMEA region.

They differentiate themselves by developing particularly strong and deep relationships with both GPs and LPs during the placement process, which in-turn leads to repeat and exclusive custom. Their secondaries business helps them to further these relationships as they regularly offer secondary and placement advice to the same clients, which enables them to have a more holistic knowledge of the PE market. As a firm, they are collegiate, honest, results driven and take a long term view.


  • Creating an ongoing pipeline of new placement and secondary advisory mandates by leveraging your existing GP network as well as by developing new relationships across the EMEA region
  • Project managing the approach and closing of new clients, including the creation and maintenance of a formal and comprehensive GP due diligence framework
  • Working with GPs on helping to sell the full nature of their secondary restructuring products and their potential benefits


  • You must have a good network of GPs within the private equity or growth space – gained from a business development, fund investing or secondaries investing function
  • Experience within the secondaries market would be an advantage
  • Able to set up and develop a GP due diligence framework
  • You can work autonomously and entrepreneurially, managing your own time
  • Able to build and maintain relationships and possess excellent sales skills
