Role Responsibility

The team plays an important role in providing support to our global distribution teams. They are required to be flexible in terms of their ability to handle data, and inbound technical content from various teams around the business (investment teams, performance team, risk team, other marketing channels).

You will work closely with other parts of the marketing team and the broader business to ensure a fully integrated approach is delivered. You should be highly intelligent, resilient and tenacious with a strong drive and determination to deliver high quality presentation experience.

Supervision / Team Management:

  • Set clear objectives for each team member to ensure they have clear responsibilities and duties, ensuring these are reviewed on a regular basis
  • Act as a point of reference for more technical and complex queries within the team
  • Assist team members with resolution of requests as necessary

Training & Coaching

  • Actively motivate direct reports, providing clear guidance, communication and aspirational leadership.
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the team
  • Regularly review and agree training requirements with direct reports and implement plans to ensure they are competent to perform their roles

Core responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing strategy with the Head of Marketing Solutions
  • Day to day management of workloads and priorities
  • Develop, deliver and maintain high quality creative approach in partnership with marketing, sales and investment teams to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent and clear
  • Deliver presentations on time and in the most effective format
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to ensure a quick turnaround on presentation outputs
  • Ensure all presentations are compiled according to the regulatory and legislative regime and ensure risks are identified, reported and managed accordingly
  • Ensure brand guidelines are always followed
  • Ensure sales teams adheres to the processes

The Ideal Candidate

  • Self-starter, strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to establish collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders covering business development
  • Prior knowledge and experience within a presentation team preferably within a financial services sector
  • Demonstrable experience gained of developing and managing presentations from creation and execution to deliver business objectives is essential
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office applications at an advanced level including production management is essential
  • Detailed driven with numerical aptitude
  • Excellent project manager skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulatory framework
  • The ability and confidence to work with several different senior stakeholders in global locations
  • International experience, dealing with various regions
  • Stay up to date with industry trends
  • Experience in people management
  • Must demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to push through challenges which arise
  • Has a flexible work attitude and excels under pressure and be a team leader
