We are currently looking for a Conduct Risk and Regulatory Response IBOR Lead to join our clients established Outreach team, project managing IBOR regulatory responses.

About the role 

Responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Liaising across senior stakeholders and traders to capture and accurately reflect updates
  • Lead conduct risk project requirements (e.g. pricing principles, complaints etc.)
  • Develop, understand and effectively articulate IBOR remediation efforts both internally and externally
  • QA of IBOR processes, identifying and remediating pain points and escalation of issues
  • Draft key updates for regulatory bodies and internal senior forums
  • Manage the IBOR risk and control submissions
  • Work with cross functional areas and often senior stakeholders to manage IBOR escalations
  • Be able to follow predefined quality control processes and escalation routes

 

Who are we looking for? 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong educational background – Degree (Masters would be an advantage)
  • 5+ years relevant experience, ideally with background in LIBOR and Risk and Controls
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets, and risk and controls
  • Background in consulting preferable
  • Strong business analysis experience
  • Capable of understanding regulatory rulesets in detail and their applicability to products (e.g. derivatives, business loans, structured notes)
  • Self-starter
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
