This role is part of the newly established ICG R&C Resourcing Office reporting into the ICG R&C COO. One of the key outputs of the ICG R&C Resourcing Office is to ensure effective financial and resource management for ICG R&C organisation. This role will be responsible for defining and establishing the new workforce planning capabilities across the organisation. The lead will work with the transformation team on designing the new capabilities for ICG including capacity model tool, staffing adequacy and organisational design. The workforce planning lead will then be responsible for the implementation and embedding across the ICG lines of business(LoB).
This role will be responsible for:
- Defining workforce planning organisation & structure with senior management in ICG
- Responsible for establishment of new staffing capacity planning model implementation, working through levels of maturity and embedding this accordingly across ICG
- Responsible for identifying application and implementation of new capacity planning model tool within ICG
- Provide transparency for management to support organisational decisions in relation to resource prioritisation and recruitment strategy
- Leading with ICG location strategy and implementation of any associated decisions
- Drive ICG HR and Talent Acquisition partners to identify risks and mitigations in progress of hiring and movement towards organisational targets
- Oversight and co-ordination of headcount planning and reporting within ICG, including hiring, attrition and internal movers
- Oversight of staffing adequacy across business lines including permanent and temporary headcount mix, reporting to senior management
- Drive towards consistency of skills and job families within ICG R&C population, as designed and defined with enterprise partners
- Management of more junior resources within resourcing office
Qualifications & Skills - Extensive relevant experience, likely including working in a COO, Business Management or resourcing team
- Experience of headcount management and workforce planning in financial services is essential
- Experience of rolling out and embedding new headcount or resourced related processes within an organisation is essential
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and able to provide detailed updates to key stakeholders
- Experience in preparing and delivering senior executive-level presentations with excellent Microsoft Office (MS PowerPoint and MS Excel) skills
- Able to navigate and influence in matrix organization, working with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
- Ability to work under pressure, with competing priorities and manage tight deadlines
- Demonstrate a commitment to quality and high attention to detail
- Experience in use of web-based tools e.g. Headcount, financial, people management.
