Currently recruiting for an IT focused Operational Risk Analyst for a Retail Bank in London. You will sit in the 2nd line and will be part of the team responsible for encouraging proactive risk management across the business as well as embedding the risk framework. You should have previous experience working within the financial services, and have strong knowledge of technology best practices and frameworks. This is an immediate vacancy with the business looking to conduct video interviews this month.
Key Responsibilities; • Embed and maintain the operational risk framework, policies and processes
• Provide independent risk oversight to the wider business
• Monitor and report on all operational risk exposure against management limits and tolerance
• Provide oversight of processes to identify, quantify and manage IT and information security risk
Key Experience; • Good understanding of IT Risk management, ideally from either a 2nd line or audit standpoint
• Previous working experience within the financial services, with a preference for retail banking
• Strong knowledge of technology practices and frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT and NIST
• Good stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work with and challenge senior members of the business
