Implementation Lead - Data GX, VP
DataGX is seeking a senior position as the lead EMEA Implementation Lead. The role is a key client facing subject matter expert position liaising with key DataGX global heads based in North America and representing EMEA's client implementation needs. This will ensure that EMEA is proactively representing the EMEA region and client needs with the DataGX product

In addition the position a will play the lead role in overseeing the data design and overall solution against prospect and client requirements. As such the role will also lead the Business System Analysis (BSA) and Development resources in the EMEA region. This role is a subject matter expert in financial data management and delivery playing an important client facing role.

The position is an exciting opportunity to shape the product direction and client delivery of the EMEA region within the global model.

Client Implementation:
  • To provide input during the sales life cycle to support qualifications, solutioning and planning against prospect requirements
  • To play lead data architecture role within client delivery to support the successful solutioning and implementation against client requirements
  • To provide key input to the planning stage through their direct leadership or that of their team regarding product gaps, product capabilities and the necessary task and duration effort to allow costing and planning accuracy
  • To own the client delivery from a solution and architecture perspective
  • To provide client facing consultancy during client implementations to ensure subject matter exert input and support to the implementation
  • To oversee the EMEA Agile team and oversee the development and quality assurance of stories/requirements from the teams Business Analysts to drive the development/implementation process
  • To be able to analyse, solution and break down a requirement into smaller work packages that can be assigned to business analyst and business system analyst resources
  • To act as a Lead Product Owner in an Agile room or implementation team to ensure co-ordination and productivity of the team
  • To provide direction and leadership to business systems analysis and developers to ensure solution delivery objectives are met
  • Provide EMEA Product Owner functionality in the emerging Agile process for product development and client delivery within the methodology
  • To provide leadership and direction within the emerging Agile methodology or Data GX Implementation methodology to be used with product development and client implementations
  • To ensure review and sign off at key toll gates through the implementation process to ensure quality and integrity of the client deliverables
  • To support resourcing from team of Business Systems Analyst and Developers into the implementation delivery team utilising either a Waterfall or Agile methodology approach
  • End to end Support of the CUAT process assisting with data validation and defining entry and exit criteria of the test phases agreed with the client
  • To liaise and ensure commitment and delivery from internal partners such as IT and core DataGX product delivery as is necessary for the strategic progress and project delivery within the region
  • Work closely within the EMEA team and the EMEA DataGX Implementation Manager with strong collaboration for the success of the team
  • Input and implementation of improved global uniformed process and management reporting across all aspects of the DataGX client and product life cycle

Product Management:
  • Represent through their direct leadership or that of their team the product pipeline needs of the EMEA region, client and prospects within emerging global DataGX product management forums and model
  • To participate in the necessary global GX and DataGX forums in order to support input and EMEA understanding of the product strategy
  • To provide leadership to the EMEA team in terms of knowledge and understanding of the global DataGX product road map and to act as the EMEA point of focus in term of this road map
  • To ensure through their direct leadership or that of their team DataGX SME product knowledge as EMEA point of focus on the product capabilities and pipeline to the EMEA wider DataGX team
  • To manage and provide leadership in to the global data model release process and cycle, representing EMEA and coordinating amongst the EMEA BSA and Agile team
  • To provide industry insight to the evolving needs of the financial sector in terms of data architecture and solution requirements

Team Management:
  • Support the recruitment, structure and organisation of the EMEA Business System Analyst and Development resources
  • To provide management structure and communication to the EMEA Product
  • To support goals and objectives to the team to ensure strong development and performance of team
  • Provide strong leadership and management across internal partnership in IT insourcing of Agile development teams and offshore partners
  • Work within a matrix report structure to ensure clear understanding of objectives and priorities
  • To work with the DataGX management team to help support the strong identity and execution excellence against key objectives
  • To provide input and support as necessary to GX senior management
  • Provide key vendor resource management and oversight to ensure productivity and efficiency of such relationship
  • Significant experience in working within a global mode with key partnership relationships and team members based in the US, Poland, Frankfurt and India
  • Significant experience in an offshore model across operations and development roles
