About the Role

The individual will work closely with the business’ Marketing and Front Office functions to complete Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), produce monthly factsheets and complete industry award entries. You will also be responsible for supporting Marketing with the review of Financial Promotions (FPs); in particular, pitch documents and presentations, to ensure they are clear, fair, and not misleading. 

Factsheet production

• Ensure timely and accurate production and delivery of factsheets
• Ensure internal data is sent to 3rd party vendors in a timely and efficient manner
• Understand and manage individual & team reporting deadlines, balancing conflicting demands appropriately
• Reduce error rates and mitigate risks through the adoption of appropriate controls, process documentation and cross training
• Update external websites and intranet

Due Diligence

• Pull together and produce high-quality requests for information (RFIs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) for third parties such as ACDs, consultancies, and industry bodies
• Maintain and update the standard due diligence literature and intranet
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of information presented, including working with the business development team to ensure appropriate products, services and content are consistently and accurately represented
• Follow and adhere to compliance procedures, getting the relevant approval before submission
• Produce MI for reporting purposes

Awards

• Collate content for award submissions throughout the year
• Prepare award entries for Quilter Cheviot and Quilter Private Client Advisers
• Create and maintain an award database and liaise with external providers
• Produce MI for reporting purposes

Pitch documents and Presentations

• Maintain and update pitch documents and create new ones as and when required
• Work with investment managers, financial planners, and compliance to ensure all presentation material used by the business is compliant
• Periodically, work with the investment writer and marketing managers to assist with the production of client and adviser communications, such as our quarterly valuation update, ensuring appropriate business, technical, legal and compliance approvals

Review of Financial Promotions

• Support the channel marketers in the the review of Financial Promotions (FPs) across all media and marketing material
• Act as the main point of contact for all FPs related to presentations and pitch documents; work closely with Investment Manager, Financial Planners, Marketing and Compliance to ensure they are clear, fair, and not misleading 
• Ensure that all records are maintained and updated as required by the regulator
• Assist with the periodic review of material created by the channel marketers

To be successful in this role, you must have good numeracy skills and excellent verbal and written communication. Ideally, you will also have experience in the financial services industry and an understanding of investment products although this is not essential.

You will also be expected to build and manage effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholder groups.

You will be able to produce well written copy and have real attention to detail.

You will have the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure, and the ability to multi-task.

Demonstrate commercial skills and the ability to analyse and interpret relevant data and insight to drive performance and resolve key issues.
