Our client, a global asset manager, is looking for a Senior Institutional Marketing Associate Director, to build out and run our private markets marketing function, reporting into the Global Head of Institutional Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Associate Director will be responsible for the strategy and content development of institutional marketing for all alternatives within the business.
  • This role will help shape and take forward the private markets business, putting customers at the heart of everything they do.
  • This will report to and will work closely with the Global Head of Institutional Marketing this role will ensure our private assets messaging and content is first class, consistent and of institutional grade quality.
  • This will be a hands-on role to drive all branding and marketing initiatives across the various private asset business segments including direct credit and real estate and others, leveraging a variety of marketing channels to achieve positive outcomes aligned to business objectives.
  • Responsibility for proposition development, branding, creation of a digital presence as well as content creation in its many forms.
  • The role will span across many forms such as sales materials, opinion and educational pieces, video, client training programs through to the production of PR stories and social assets.
  • The candidate will be responsible for directly creating content with the help of specialist agencies directly managed by the individual.   
  • In addition, the individual will develop deep knowledge of competitors, building a comprehensive understanding of strengths and weaknesses of the firm.
  • Using this insight, we will ask for regular competitor reporting to assist our distribution teams and the Institutional Operating Committee to help contextualize the commercial opportunity

 

Experience Required

  • Strong academic background, and degree qualified
  • Strong demonstrable experience in marketing to the institutional audience
  • Good understanding of the private market audeience. 
  • Technically capable. 
  • Good communication skills and analytical mind
  • High energy and likeable
