We are currently recruiting a Director to join our Inpoint in London, UK. The team provides strategy consulting and advisory services to Aon Inpoint’s clients, which include many of the most prestigious companies in Global Property and Casualty insurance.

We help our clients to navigate a fast-changing market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results. We have privileged access to Aon’s proprietary data and the knowledge of its global network of insurance industry experts to derive unique and compelling insights into the sources of competitive advantage in our industry. Most importantly we help our clients to turn insights into practical actions and then into tangible returns.

You will join the team as a Director.  Your role will involve building strong and sustainable relationships with C-Suite client executives, leading the delivery of a range of advisory services to clients, managing project teams to complete strategic initiatives and taking responsibility for critical business functions. 

As part of the London team, you will be based in the historic centre of the insurance world working with the most prestigious global players in helping them define their future. Created in 2008, our Aon Inpoint has grown year on year to operate today with more than 300 people based in our offices in London, New York, Chicago, Miami, Singapore, Sydney, Dublin, Toronto and Rotterdam. Our London team is dynamic, international and enjoys close proximity to its client base in the City.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will involve;

• Engage with clients to identify their strategic needs and priorities and develop potential solutions.
• Retain and build existing client relationships as well as actively seek new relationships and business development opportunities.
• Lead business development activities and collaborate with colleagues in the identification and creation of new sales opportunities.
• Structure and plan complex initiatives and identify and secure required resources.
• Oversee and deliver multiple projects and strategic initiatives within agreed timeframes and to budget.
• Quickly and efficiently leverage a global network of people, best practices and Aon assets to generate compelling insights, analytics and strategic solutions.
• Actively contribute to building of high performing teams, fostering a culture of development and learning to nurture talent.
• Manage colleagues and support successful development of their careers.
• Lead or contribute to Aon Inpoint brand development through industry relationship building, thought leadership, whitepapers, conferences and presentations.
• Take responsibility for building and managing core business functions and capabilities.
• Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory.

About you

• Previous experience within the Insurance Sector.
• Proven track record and extensive experience in selling consulting/advisory services to clients, ideally in Financial Services sector, and managing teams to deliver complex projects.
• Strong client focus.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills – team leadership, relationship building, communication.
• Strong people manager – performance management and colleague development.
• Accomplished communicator.
• Demonstrates personal qualities of planning, commitment, resolving problems, decisiveness, and commitment to personal development.
• Broad business acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrable extensive experience within a consulting position or industry equivalent.
