An International Insurance Company is currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join their Audit Division in their London, United Kingdom office.

An International Insurance Company is currently recruiting for an Audit Manager to join their Audit Division in their London, United Kingdom office.

As an Audit Manager, you will be part of the International Internal Audit team responsible for;

  • Plan, perform and document internal audits in accordance with the internal audit plan;
    • Perform process walkthroughs to build a strong understanding of key processes and identify key risks and controls
    • Apply risk and control concepts to assess control design and developing a test approach of the key controls
    • Draft and review internal audit work papers and reports for discussion with the Head of Internal Audit and senior management that are supported by the work performed
    • Manage the audit teams and provide guidance to staff in the execution of assigned audits, including monitoring the progress and quality against stated audit objectives, department metrics, and audit requirements.
  • Interacting with company management and key personnel to build/maintain ongoing business relationships by utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior and senior Internal Audit staff.
  • Auditors may be required to travel up to 25% of the working year.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have;

  • Minimum 5 years of audit experience, preferably in the insurance environment
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven track record as a team leader; ability to attract, develop and retain top talent
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

What the position can offer you in return;

  • The base salary on offer ranges between £65,000 - £75,000, depending on experience, and comes with a bonus and an attractive benefits package.
