Norges Bank Real Estate Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for an Analyst position within the Investment area. The Investment team is responsible for the build-up of Norges Bank Real Estate Management as a major investor in the UK real estate market.

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is organised as a separate division within Norges Bank Investment Management and is managing the unlisted real estate portfolio of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG).

 

Norges Bank Real Estate Management is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for an Analyst position within the Investment area. The Investment team is responsible for the build-up of Norges Bank Real Estate Management as a major investor in the UK real estate market.

 

The Analyst will join the investment team and will support its efforts to actively manage the properties located in UK and contribute in the work related to new acquisitions in UK. Your role will be to contribute to the group’s efforts to source, invest, develop, manage and divest properties and/or joint venture interests in properties. You will have the opportunity to be a part of a growing organisation.

The position is in London. Travel will be required.

Main responsibilities:

Assist and contribute to new investments

  • Perform rigorous financial analysis and modelling of new investment opportunities
  • Produce investment memorandums and management presentations about existing or new investments
  • Participate in the coordination of external advisers during due diligence and acquisition processes
  • Produce in-depth research on real estate market data and trends
  • Review legal documentation and manage certain legal documents (NDAs, LOIs)

 

Assist and contribute in the ongoing management of existing investments

  • Assist with creating annual and long-term business plans
  • Assist with the execution of asset management initiatives including leasing, refurbishment, redevelopment and improvements to operational efficiency
  • Monitor and analyse the operational and financial performance of existing investments
  • Manage and monitor the performance of external property managers
  • Contribute to group collaboration, interaction and share knowledge across Norges Bank Real Estate Management

 

Main Qualifications:

 

  • University degree with strong academic records
  • Relevant real estate investment experience, preferably from a fund investor or top tier investment bank
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated and hard-working with strong attention to details
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good time management and organizational skills
