Our client is a major global investment firm.
They are now looking to recruit an Investment associate to their Credit Opportunities team. The role will cover investments into high yield bonds, leveraged loans, subinvestment debt and other special credits.
Day to day, you will work on the credit analysis of bonds, loans, and credits traded on the markets. This will include carrying out detailed pieces of credit research on debt; preparing investment recommendations for the PMs; credit and financial modelling; valuations; portfolio management of the existing positions.
The role will work as part of an exceptional team.
They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
- associate level with 3 - 7 years experience
- currently working in credit investing, leveraged finance or debt advisory; possibly a very good chartered accountant with experience in restructuring, debt advisory
- strong understanding of credit markets
- Clear spoken & written communication skills
- Good degree gained from an academic institution.
