This boutique Alternative Credit Manager are looking for an Investment Data Manager to join their Investment team, at an Analyst or Associate level. This is an exciting opportunity with excellent exposure to the Portfolio Management and Credit Analysis functions.

This role is a result of continuing growth with the firm having expanded rapidly over the past 3 years. They currently have 25 people in their London office with £1.6bn AUM and plans to start raising a new fund shortly.

Joining the team at an important time in the firm's development, you will take full ownership for the Investment Data Management function, reporting directly to the CIO.

Duties:

  • Full ownership of investment team date including pricing, equity, bonds & loans, CDS, FX and rates
  • Managing security data (hierarchy, identifiers, ratings, demographics, corporate actions etc)
  • Dealing with multiple data sources including Bloomberg, CapIQ, credit specialist data vendors, internal forms and templates
  • Regular and ad hoc monitoring and query management - supporting investment team with all market related data requests
  • Work with investment team and Director of Technology to design and implement new data management systems and processes
  • Interact with other functions in the business - investor relations, finance, operations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience working with large data sets within asset management (data management, pricing, other relevant investment support roles)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SQL or Python
  • Analytically minded, able to problem solve and work independently

Desirable:

  • Asset management qualification such as IMC, CAIA or working towards CFA
  • Additional data related coding languages
  • Previous experience of a system migration project
  • Structured credit experience
