I am working with a global firm who are looking for an experience investment professional to head up their UK acquisitions. The firm are sector agnostic looking at acquisitions in the £1m - £10m range. They are looking for firms that they can work with and develop over the long term, as opposed to seeking quick exits.
As an Investment Manager, you will lead on the origination of potential acquisitions and manage the full investment process and post-acquisition integration of companies within the UK. The company have a nimble approach to investments, investing from the balance sheet with final decisions made by the CEO. Without the constraints of a mandated fund or investment committee, they can move quickly to deploy capital once suitable targets are identified.
The company have a very strong focus on employee wellbeing. They are not a fund and are not acting on behalf of external investors. As such, you can expect a better work life balance than you may find in a fund environment.
