This well capitalised Family Office based in the West End, are looking for an investment Manager to join them in an autonomous role, leading the investment function.

This person will be joining a small team and taking responsibility for the full transaction process. The company enjoy a good flow of investment opportunities through their reputation, so there isn't much pressure on origination. Much of this role will be assessing the various opportunities and identifying potential, then managing the process to its conclusion. This will also involve liaising with various external parties as appropriate.

The company are looking to invest £10m - £40m equity per transaction and looking at a broad range of majority, minority, equity and debt investment opportunities, primarily in the UK and across Europe but with no formal geographical restrictions.

The culture is more relaxed than most fund environments, with a regular working day and really interesting mix of investments including some personal work for the Principal. This is a hands on role so regular visits to sites and businesses as appropriate will be part of the position. Whilst the person will need the experience to be able to operate independently, they will also need to be happy doing their own analysis and due-diligence. There may be scope to hire an analyst in the future if required.

•    Circa 5 - 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 2 gained within a fund or family office
•    Extensive UK and European Private Equity investment experience
•    Strong modelling skills, happy to perform own due diligence
•    Broad industry investment experience
•    Experience operating in small, autonomous deal teams rather than larger structured organisations
•    Pro-active and entrepreneurial nature
•    Able to operate in an unstructured and fast paced environment
•    A background in Corporate Finance or Transaction Services prior to moving into industry would be an advantage
