An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and analytically minded Investor Relations Director to join this growing Private Equity firm. The company have already deployed a number of funds with a focus on growth investments in the FinTech space. This role will form an important part of a newly created Investor Engagement team and will be instrumental to the success of the firm moving forward.

This role will form an important part of a newly created Investor Engagement team and will be instrumental to the success of the firm moving forward.

Job description:

  • Manage inbound investor requests and inquiries, coordinating the firm's response with other internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal team, Investment team), as required
  • Lead and contribute to the production of fund performance/ portfolio company content for use in quarterly or other investor reports
  • Coordinate and deliver annual investor meetings, fundraising roadshows, and other external stakeholder events
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements to processes, systems, and infrastructure relating to stakeholder management and fundraising activities
  • Deploy the Fundraising strategy, identifying prospective LPs, making an approach, and tracking engagement process in the Client's CRM
  • Work closely with other team members on projects involving marketing and social media
  • Project Manage future fundraising efforts for existing and new products
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors, acting as their key client point of contact

Requirements:

  • Experience of Investor Relations within Private Equity
  • Proficient command of English (written and spoken) and demonstrable ability to transform financial performance details into investor-friendly messages
  • Detail-oriented, structured thinker with strong project management skills
  • Familiar with PE/ VC Fund structures and economics as well as commercially-minded
  • An entrepreneurial and enthusiastic individual capable of working alone or as part of a team
  • Able to present confidently and engage with LPs/ key stakeholders on the company's products
  • Excellent academic record from leading institutions
