About our client Our client, a global early stage and growth investor, are looking to hire an Investor Relations & Operations Analyst to join their growing London team. With an impressively broad portfolio, the fund are entrepreneurial and collaborative, and have recently closed their latest fund making it an exciting time to become part of the team. Investing across technology, the portfolio spans a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions.
As Investor Relations & Operations Analyst, you will assist with fundraising opportunities, conduct KYC and due diligence, build integral relationships with investors, assist in the design of marketing materials and provide operational support to senior IR professionals within the business. You will be afforded a high level of independence and room to progress into an exclusively IR / fundraising role. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with fund operations knowledge and an outgoing attitude.
What the job involves - Support the investment team at the various stages of the acquisitions and disposals along with administrative follow-up of transactions
- Maintain accurate investment documentation for each investment during the entire life cycle
- Support on investor communications and other investor related queries
- Assist with client take-on, ensuring adherence with AML and KYC requests
- Undertake company secretarial tasks, including preparation of minute and board resolutions for all entities
- Assist the senior team to ensure full fund compliance with statutory requirement and external regulation as applicable
- Assist with the ongoing compliance monitoring within the company in line with FCA requirements
- Data entry and management of document filing systems
Who we are looking for - Previous experience working within the investment management space in an operational, front office support or client services capacity
- Knowledge of private equity or venture capital would be advantageous
- Fundraising or Investor Relations experience would also be advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure and a can-do attitude
