Java Developer
Summary: A London-based fintech is looking for a Java developer to join the London based technology team. The successful Java developer will be working on systems design and engineering, and building scalable distributed systems from scratch in Kotlin and Java. The successful Java developer will be working in an agile, London-based team, alongside security engineers, front end developers and designers, devops/SRE, testers and architects.
Responsibilities: - Build scalable and multithreaded distributed systems in Java and Kotlin
- Solutions/ systems design and development, including software architecture and design
- Work closely with designers, testers, security engineers, network operations, devops, etc.
Requirements: - Solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals
- Software engineering experience with Java or another JVM-based language in an agile, commercial software environment
